Synergy / Contractor
Construction Management Software for Contractors in Ethiopia
A contractor’s project team needs a daily record that connects the work on site to the information, people and decisions behind it. Synergy brings those records into a shared project workspace, with a Starter Business trial for one active project.

Start each day with the project record
Set up the project and invite the people responsible for delivery. Keep daily site logs, planned and actual manpower, work activity and outstanding issues together. A useful daily record explains what happened, where it happened and what prevented planned work from progressing.
- Record the work area and activity.
- Compare planned and actual manpower by trade.
- Reference the drawings used for the work.
- Assign follow-up responsibility for unresolved issues.
Send questions that reviewers can answer
An RFI should identify one information gap, cite the relevant drawing revision and state the decision needed. Keep the question and its response connected to the project record. For a material or shop drawing submission, include the specification reference and revision so the reviewer can distinguish the current submission from an earlier attempt.
Use the RFI and submittal registers to follow status and response dates. Bring unresolved items into the coordination meeting with their references, rather than relying on a conversation that cannot be traced later.
Keep site quantities connected to commercial records
Use BOQ items, measurements and valuation periods to organize the work claimed. A requested variation, an assessment and a final authorization represent different stages of the same change. Keeping them separate makes it easier for the project team to explain why a figure appears in a valuation.
Payment certificates record certified entitlement. Reconcile them with the project’s separate payment records before treating a certified amount as money received.
